Social Media Content Creator - Contract

Starting Hourly Rate: $35/hr or DOE 

Hours: Estimated 8-16 hours 

Looking for a flexible and independent creative role? This position will work directly with the Creative Director to create content for our website and social media on a contract basis. With deadlines in mind, set your own hours to complete the assigned content for the week at our headquarters in Newton, Iowa. 

Location: Our creative studio in Newton, Iowa 

 

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and on brand clothing flat lays, fit videos, promotional videos and more 
  • Edit social media content via your preferred platform to align with TPB’s visual goals
  • Collaborate with other The Pulse Boutique creators to create content when needed 
  • Work with the Creative Director to ensure accurate visual representation and styling of products
  • Familiarize yourself with our preferred software systems to organize content, communicate with TPB team members and keep track of deadlines
  • Attend weekly photoshoots to gather content and assist with media needs 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new social media trends and align on weekly goals 
  • Attend a once weekly virtual marketing meeting to align on content goals for the week

 

Requirements:

  • Familiar with social media platforms 
  • Attend weekly photoshoot [day varies] 
  • Attend a 1 hour virtual marketing meeting every Monday 
  • Light to moderate photo and video editing skill  
  • Extreme attention to details 
  • Works well under tight deadlines 
  • Very organized
  • Works well in a small team environment

 

Bonus Skills [NOT REQUIRED]:

  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite for editing purposes 
  • Experience creating social media content
