eCom Visual Merchandiser & Fashion Stylist

Pay Rate: Hourly, starting at $24/hr or DOE

Days & Hours: Monday - Friday, start time TBD | 40 hours per week

Location: In person at our headquarters in Newton, Iowa

This position will work directly under the Creative Director to ensure product launches align with The Pulse Boutique brand from a styling and visual standpoint, while meeting launch deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising - Ensure products, styling, photography and related content are consistent and on brand for each product launch.

Assign new arrivals to release days according to brand guidelines and product arrival dates.
Work with the Creative Director to ensure visual representation of photos on the website accurately reflect TPB brand image.
Collaborate with the buying team to execute collection releases, identify product opportunities, develop themes and new trends.
When needed, assist the buying team at wholesale markets
Keeping software programs and documents up to date with incoming inventory and collection items
Assist with content creation, such as flat lays if needed
Align with the buying and marketing team on promotional theme development and execution

Photoshoot Planning and Execution- Make sure product photos are taken and completed in a timely manner to meet release deadlines. Manage all aspects of the shoot, from coordinating schedules, locations and items to backdrop creation.

Schedule and Prep Photoshoots According to Inventory Release Needs. This includes coordinating with the Creative Director, Models and Photographer.
Scout/Research New Photoshoot Locations
Communicate effectively during photoshoots to make sure products are shot accurately and are achieving theme goals
Work with the Creative Director to create new backdrops and ensure photos reflect the The Pulse Boutique brand.
Prepare Inventory for photoshoots and content creation [steaming, unpackaging, pulling sizes, organizing], as well as retagging and putting inventory back in stock.
Take detailed fit notes during the shoot to ensure accurate representation of our products.
Work with our photographer to ensure product photos are an accurate representation of the item and its color.
Help Maintain a Clean and Organized Office/Photoshoot Space

Requirements:

BA in Merchandising or Experience in a Related Field Highly Preferred
Overnight/Multi Night Stays May Occasionally Be Required When Traveling to Markets or Photoshoots. No More than 10 business days per year.
